February Term 1865 of this Carter County Court

 

At a Court commeneced and held in and for said county on the 13th day of February 1865 presant honorable Philip P. Hord Justice of the Peace acting judge, John Mcquire Judge being absent from Carter County.

 

On the motion Francis M. Wilcox it is ordered that letters of adminstration be granted to him on the estate of Samuel Wilcox deceased and thereupon he together with James M. Clay and John C. Porter entered into and acknowleleged bond Caudilian according law which is approved by the court and thereupon he took the oath fines? (not sure what this is) listed?  ( not sure about this one) by law

 

On the motion of L.T. Whitten is is ordered that Willam Count?, Geo. W.

Walker and A. J. Kitchen or any of the two them after being first duly sworn according to law as ____ and work out a charge in the road proping leading from Grayson to the Morgan County line poping over the land of said Whittl and the H? of John f. Vincent and make report of the convenciences and inconsidences to this court.

 

On the motion of Harvey Welum he is released from paying Militia fine on tax in Carter County by pr. Sergents certificates of the 9th District of Kentucky
