Kentucky GenWeb projectOBIT - Homer Bellew, 65, Rt. 4, Grayson, died Saturday at the residence of his sister, Ruby Bellew of Rt., 4, Grayson, following a sudden illness. Mr. Bellew was born Jan 30, 1911, in Carter County, a son of the late Watt A. and Effie Walker Bellew. He was a farmer. Surviving in addition to the sister, are his wife, Mrs. Jessie Carroll Bellew; two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Wallace of Huntington and Miss Elaine Bellew of Barboursville, W. Va.; three brothers, Laverne Bellew of Dayton, O., Russell Bellew of Rt. 4, Grayson, and Walter Bellew of Huntington; and another sister, Ruth Hobbs of Stanton. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the residence by the Rev. Marcus Suttles. Burial will be in the Bellew and Sammons Cemetery at Rt. 4, Grayson.
