Della Pearl Binion Bowling

Della Pearl Binion Bowling, 87, of Sandy Hook, Ky., passed away Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007, at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born in Soldier, Ky., the daughter of the late Isaac Binion and the late Lizzie Mae Blankenship Binion Roe.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Arthur Bowling, on Jan. 6, 1994, and a son, Donald Glen Bowling, on Dec. 5, 1939.

She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Temple Apostolic Church.

She is survived by a son, Lonnie Charles and wife Kathryn Bowling of Salem, Ill.; two daughters, Ethel Mae Hockathorn and Patricia Sue Green, 
both of Sandy Hook; five grandchildren, Stephanie Lynn Pierquet and husband Tony of Canton, Ohio, 
Ronald C. Jr. and wife Shirley Hockathorn of Barberton, Ohio, Steven A. and wife Shelley Green of Morehead, Ky., 
Melanie R. Green of West Liberty, Ky., and Jennifer P. Jenkins of Owingsville, Ky.; and great-grandchildren Leah and Luke Pierquet, 
Amanda, Russell, Dallas and Kimberly Hockathorn, Wheeler and Taylor Green, Allyson and James “Jay” Maddamma and Carson McCarty.

Funeral will be at noon Thursday at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook by Pastor Daniel Long. Burial will be in Bowling Family Cemetery.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
