Earl Binion, 83, of Worthington, Ky., died Sunday morning, Jan. 8, 2006, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital with his loving family by his side. 

Mr. Binion was born Sept. 18, 1922, in Grahn, Ky., and was the son of the late Jim and Josephine Roe Binion. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Binion was preceded in death by an infant son, Jackie Lane Binion. 

He was retired from the C&O Railroad after 39 years of service. He was a World War II Army veteran who served during Pearl Harbor, 
where he received an American Defense Service Medal and American Theater Campaign Ribbon. 

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Juanita Reynolds Binion of Worthington; a daughter, Lorita Carman of Wurtland, Ky.; 
five sons, Garry (Kathy) Binion of Crestline, Ohio, Steve (Diana) Binion of Findlay, Ohio, Mike (Thuy) Binion of Nashville, Tenn., 
David Binion of Worthington and Jerry Binion of Lexington, Ky.; a brother, Raymond Binion of Grayson, Ky.; 
a sister, Bonnie Branham of Oklahoma City, Okla.; grandchildren Tara Binion, Lisa Binion, Brian Binion, Brad Binion, Samantha Binion, 
Jordan Binion, Nikki Carman, Heather Mueller and Zack Hicks; two great-grandchildren, Lilly Binion Ferrell and Aidan Mueller; 
several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends. 

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the 
Rev. Arlie Reynolds and Pastor Rick Mays. Burial will be in Binion Cemetery in Elliott County, Ky. 

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
