Mary Elizabeth 'Libya' Culp

MANSFIELD -- Mary Elizabeth "Libya" Culp, 75, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital after a long illness. 

Born Feb. 21, 1930, in Olive Hill, Ky., she was the daughter of McKinley and Delia Jones Brinegar. 

An area homemaker all her life, Libby enjoyed making arts and crafts. 

She is survived by two sons, Randy Culp of Mansfield and Lon (Rita) Culp of Lucas; three grandchildren, Derek Culp, Melissa Culp and Melonie Culp all of Lucas; two sisters, Pauline Duncan and JoAnn Kiser, both of Mansfield; a brother, Ora Brinegar of Mansfield; numerous nieces and nephews; and three good friends, Jean and Jerry Mosier and Bodie Seitz, all of Mansfield. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ross J. Culp; sister, Christine Sparks; two brothers, Leroy Brinegar and Earl Bringer; three brothers-in-law, Willie Kiser, Sam Sparks and Hursie Duncan; and three sisters-in-law, Darlene Brinegar, Elsa Brinegar and Garnet Brinegar. 

Private family services, conducted by Pastor Mike Weaver, were held Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
