Mrs. Newland was born Nov. 15, 1932, in Cherokee. Her husband, John C. Newland, survives. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson. Burial will be in Kemper Cemetery. Opal Campbell Newland 1932 - 2004 Opal Faye Campbell Newland, age 71, of Grayson, KY died Thursday morning, May 27th, 2004 in the Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. She was born November 15, 1932, at Cherokee in Lawrence County, KY, a daughter of the late Millard and Cora Adams Campbell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pactolus United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death was a grandson, Kenneth Lee Bradford; her sisters, Elsie Suttles and Pauline Suttles and infant sisters, Della and Emma Campbell, Nellie Campbell and Myrtle Louise Campbell; her brothers, Luther Campbell and Leroy Campbell and an infant brother, Leonard Campbell. Her survivors include: Her husband of 53 years: John C.
