Mildred L. Oney - 1936-2007 Mildred L. Oney, 71, of Olive Hill, Ky., passed away Sunday, Feb. 25, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. Mrs. Oney was born Feb. 14, 1936, in Carter County, Ky., a daughter of the late Ralph and Madge Wells Crawford. She was the owner and operator of the Magic Mirror Beauty Salon in Olive Hill and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in Cannonsburg, Ky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Geraldine Ingold, Ilene Dehart and Joy Crawford. She is survived by her husband, Ferris Oney; three sons, Ferris (Evelyn) Oney, Jeffrey (Tammy) Oney and Gary (Becky) Oney, all of Olive Hill; a daughter, Kathy (Mitchell) Roe of Greenup, Ky.; a brother, Ralph Crawford Jr. of Flatwoods, Ky.; four sisters, Delores Bond of Bellville, Ohio, Ruth Bond of Mansfield, Ohio, Loraine Hall of Olive Hill and Katie Dehart of Jackson, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, Kristopher Oney, Derek Burchett, Laken Burchett, Shannon Oney, Jennifer Hamm, Jonathan Falkner, Kara Skaggs, Natashia Oney, Kristy Roe, Jeffrey Oney Jr., Brittany Oney and Paul Richards; and six great-grandchildren, Trenton Porter, Shelby Oney, Shalee Oney, Gage Hamm, Alex Hamm, and Tyra Skaggs. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m. at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
