Ray Crum, age 92, of Kingsport, TN, formerly of West Jefferson, OH passed away January 15, 2007, in the Wexford House of Kingsport. 
He was born January 16, 1914, in Grayson, KY the son of the late James and Rachel Leah Crum. 

Ray had worked in the aviation industry all his life, served in the Army Air Corps during WW II and was a sixty year 
member of the West Jefferson American Legion, 

He is survived by a son, Roger (Julie) Crum of Nickelsville, VA; two granddaughters, Shane (Jeff) Powers of Powell and Lindsey Ross of Newark, OH; 
four great-grandchildren, Jacob and Sofia Powers, Ryleigh and Raeghan Ross. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Orpha, 2001, parents and a sister Edna Long. 

Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. January 18, 2007 in the RADER-McDONALD FUNERAL HOME, West Jefferson,
 where Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. January 19, 2007 with Rev. Jerry Newman officiating. 

Burial and Military Graveside Service will follow in Somerford Cemetery
