Lorraine Flaugher Johnson - 1921-2007 Lorraine Flaugher Johnson, 85, of Ironton, formerly of Grayson, died Nov. 9, 2007, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. She was born Dec. 26, 1921, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary McDavid Flaugher. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She also was preceded in death by a son, James Andrew Johnson in 1989; a grandson, Jeremy Rutherford; six brothers, James Edward Flaugher, William Henry Flaugher, Lloyd Flaugher Jr., Thomas Leroy Flaugher, Harold McKaine “Sonny” Flaugher and Johnny Wendell Flaugher; and four sisters, Sarah Mae Flaugher, Lois Elaine Flaugher “Ottis” Waggoner, Virginia Eleve Flaugher and Jewell Marlene Flaugher. Survivors include her first husband, Johnny V. Kitchen Sr. of Ashland, who is the father of her son and daughter-in-law, Johnny V. “J.V.” and Wanda Kitchen Jr. of Grayson; two daughters, Susan Kitchen and Doug McGinnis of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., and Cindy Kitchen Price of South Point; her second husband, Jimmy Johnson of Sturgis, Ky., who is the father of a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jamie and Tom Egger of Wheeling, Ill.; two sisters, Grace Mondane Flaugher Zimmerman of Massillon, Ohio, and Betty Jean Flaugher and Paul Williams of Prospect Heights, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Malone Funeral Home by Brother Bill Bush. Burial will be in McDavid Family Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
