Kentucky GenWeb projectWilliam Samuel “Bill” Greer, 88, of Bruin, Elliott Co, KY, born July 16, 1910 in Hitchins, Carter Co, KY, son of the late William and Kate Craigor Greer, died June 11, 1999 in Morehead, Rowan Co, KY. Preceded: daughter Mary Lou Greer Kibbey. Survived: sons, Darrell Greer, Billy “Junior” Greer, Carl James Greer and Woodford Greer, daughters, Geneva Yeather, Deloris McCoy, Thelma Jarvis, Della Jewell Belcher and Margaret Greer, brother, Earl Greer, sister, Pearl Rogers, 26 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. Burial: June 15, 1999 in the Sammons Cemetery, on Fields Branch.
