Ernest Hall 1925 - 2005 Ernest Hall, age 80, of Hitchins, KY, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 22nd, 2005 at his residence. He was born September 4th, 1925, the son of the late James and Stella Hall of Hitchins. He met his wife Dorothy Bair Hall at the age of 15, he then went on the serve in World War II. Ernest served 18 months in the Philippine Islands. He had a great love for his family and his church, Wings of Faith, where he was a deacon. Ernest was loved by many people. He was retired from General Refractories in Hitchins. Preceding him in death besides his parents, are three brothers, Boyd Hall, Doug Hall and Phillip Hall and 1 sister, Deloris Humphrey. Ernest is survived by: his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Hall and his beloved puppy, Ginger at Hitchins, KY 2 sons and 1 daughter in law: Ernie and Loretta Hall of Hitchins, KY Anthony Hall of Grayson, KY 3 daughters and sons in law: Linda and Howard Waugh of Olive Hill, KY Debbie and Estill Lewis of Denton, KY Barbie and Bob Johnson of Denton, KY 10 grandchildren with their spouses: Tabitha and Rebecca Hall of Hitchins, Marie and John and Travis Lewis of Denton, Teresa and Albert Holbrook of Olive Hill, Anita and Mark Mosier of Olive Hill, Tanya and James Cox of Olive Hill, Mark Hall of Grayson and Annette and Mike Martin of Grayson 6 great-grandchildren: Crystal and Kristen Holbrook of Olive Hill, Jared Mosier of Olive Hill, Dylan Cox of Olive Hill and Chase and Austin Martin of Grayson 2 sisters: Gloriagean Carroll of Grayson Imogean Mullins of Denton He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, September 24th, 2005 at 11:00am at the Malone Funeral Home, with Carlos Brown, minister. Burial was in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Military graveside rites were conducted by the East Carter JROTC. Visitation was held from 6-9pm, Friday, September 23rd at the funeral home.
