Ethel Looney

MANSFIELD -- Ethel Looney, 75, died Friday, March 9, 2007, at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital after a short illness. 

Ethel was born Sept. 27, 1931, in Grayson, Ky., to Sherman and Lucy Porter Hall. She was a member of Christian Life Center. 
  
Surviving are son, David Looney of Shelby; two granddaughters, Rebecca Looney of Mansfield and Michelle Looney of Shelby; three sisters, Laura Miller of South Shore, Ky., Lillian Blevins of Olive Hill, Ky., and Mary Walker of Mansfield; one brother, Gary Hall of Grayson; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Ethel was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Lee Roy Looney; son, Rick Looney; her parents; three sisters, Nadine Leadingham, Donna Gillum, and Imogene Horton; and three brothers, Tracy Hall, Mitchell Hall, and Woodrow Hall. 
Friends may call 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Christian Life Center, 961 Springmill Road, Mansfield. Funeral service will follow at 4 p.m., conducted by Pastor Mark Meyer and Pastor Gary Hunt. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 19, in Mansfield Memorial Park.
