GREEN, Vinnia (Hill) 1878-1958 OF CHANDLERVILLE PASSES FRIDAY Mrs. Vinnia Green, 79, died Friday, July 13, at her home at Chandlersville after an illness of one and one-half months. She was born November 13, 1878, in Morgan County, the daughter of the late Thornton and Sarah Williams Hill, and had resided at Chandlerville for the past eighteen years. She had been a member of the Enterprise Baptist church for sixty-one years. Survivors included the husband, W. F. Green and one son, Lloyd Green, Detroit. Five brothers, Marvin Hill, Blaine; Van Hill, Relief; Albert Hill, Chillicothe, O.; Wayne Hill, Relief and Hendrick Hill, Londonderry, O. Two sister, Mrs. Tommie Bailey, Lucasville, Ohio, and Mrs. Willie Sherman, Relief; also one grandchild. Funeral services were conducted at the home Sunday, July 20, at 10:00 a.m. with Hood Wallen and Cully Sparks as officiating ministers with music by the Toms Creek Singers. Burial was in the family cemetery at Chanderville. Paintsville Herald Wednesday July 23, 1958
