Clyde Logan Born 1910 OLIVE HILL - Clyde Logan, 96, of 730 Candy Cane Drive in Olive Hill passed away Monday afternoon, June 11, at Kings Daughters Medical Center. Mr. Logan was born Sept. 29, 1910 in Carter County and was the son of the late Ledford and Mary Francis Curtis Logan. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Samuel Justin Logan; one brother, Leonard Logan Sr. and one sister, Idle Thompson. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Meral Sparks Logan; one son and daugher-in-law, Clyde “Chip” and Jane Leslie Logan of Lexington. One daughter and son-in-law, Candy and Larry David Hall of Olive Hill. Two grandchildren, Perry Case Logan and Gene Austin Logan. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and many other family and friends who will sadly mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m., June 14 at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill with Brother Clyde Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow in the Logan Cemetery in Olive Hill. Friends may call after 12 p.m., June 14 until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
