Charlisa Juanita Mullins-Davis (1923-2007) Charlisa Juanita Mullins-Davis, 83, of Denton, passed from this life to her eternal home with God on June 6, 2007. She was born Sept. 18, 1923, in Music, Ky., a daughter of the late Charles Grant and Ruby Stanley McWhorter. She was a homemaker and a member of Straight Creek Freewill Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Mullins, in 1992; her daughter, Lois Gail McCoy, in 1976; and two brothers, Bob and Ronald McWhorter. Her survivors include her husband, Earsel Davis and his family; three daughters and a son-in-law, Carole Sue O’Brien of Denton, Patty Carper of Grayson and Shelby and husband Sidney Marshall of Grayson; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and wife Dixie Mullins of Denton; three grandsons, Chris Carter and wife Missy, Edwin Sexton and Corey Mullins; three granddaughters, Julie Boggs and husband Kevin, Rachel Mullins and Leah Mullins; a great-grandson, Zach Boggs; and a sister, Deledita “Bay” Solly of Seattle. A special thank you to caregivers Pat Blevins and Faye Lucas. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by Keith Crum, minister.
