1925 - 2006 

Margaret Roberts Murphy, age 80, of Grayson, KY, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at her residence. 
She was born September 20th, 1925, at Carter County, KY, a daughter of the late Bill and Goldie Bishop Shears. 

She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. 

Preceding her in death was her 1st husband, Ransom Roberts; her 2nd husband, Thomas “Tom” Murphy; 2 sons, Tommy Murphy and 
William “Bill” Murphy and a daughter, Linda Kay Webb. 

Her survivors include: 

4 sons: 

Terry Roberts of Hazard, KY 

Mikie Roberts 

Ransom "Bud" Roberts 

Lonnie Murphy all of Grayson 

4 daughters: 

Peggy White 

Glenna Jackson 

Daisy McDavid 

Mary Campbell all of Grayson 

3 step-sons: 

Ora Lee Murphy 

Fred Murphy both of Grayson 

Charles Randolf Murphy of Georgia 

1 step-daughter: 

Betty Craighead of Mansfield, OH 

2 sisters: 

Ruth Bush 

Maxine Carroll both of Grayson 

1 brother: 

Paul Shears of Mansfield, OH 

39 grandchildren 

and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 6th, 2006 at 2:00pm 

at the Malone Funeral Home, with Lewis Davis, minister. Burial will be in the Adkins Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, 
January 5th, from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
