Bill M. Shepherd 1924-2006

Bill M. Shepherd, age 82, of Grayson, Ky., passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at his residence.

Mr. Shepherd was born June 17, 1924, in Grayson, a son of the late Tom and Hannah Ison Shepherd.

He was a brick layer and maker and a WWII U.S. Army veteran.

He was also preceded in death by his first wife of 38 years, Belva Boggs Shepherd; his second wife of 20 years, Juanitha Fryer Hall Shepherd; 
a brother, Gene Shepherd; and two sisters, Irene Stone and Iva Mae Perdue.

His survivors include two sons, George Richard Hall and Tim Hall, both of Grayson; 
two daughters, Freida Hall Moore of Olive Hill, Ky., and Bobbie Shepherd James of Grayson; 
a brother, Jessie Shepherd of Grayson; two sisters, Dean Mills of California and Judy Shepherd of Texas; 
seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 8, 2006, at 1 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Tim Hall, minister. Burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be tonight, July 7, from 6 to 9 and Saturday after 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
