Kentucky GenWeb projectLONNIE STAMPER The Daily Independent, Ashland, Ky. Saturday, March 24, 1990 Lonnie Stamper, 82, of Roue 2, Olive Hill, died Friday in St. Claire Medical Center. Mr. Stamper was born Dec. 25, 1907, in Carter County, a son of the late Joesph and Cora Alexander Stamper. His wife, Rosie Reynolds Stamper, died in 1956. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are four sons, Earl Leo Stamper and Larry Stamper, both of Mansfield, Ohio, Quentis Stamper of Lucas, Ohio, and Homer Stamper of Olive Hill; a daughter, Helen Owens of Mansfield; two brothers, Alvin Stamper of Olive Hill and Elwood Stamper of Mansfield; a sister, Cleavie McGlone of Olive Hill; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral was conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at the Oney Funeral Home in Olive Hill by the Rev. Terry Dean. Burial was in the Reynolds Family Cemetery.
