MANSFIELD NEWS-JOURNAL (Mansfield, Ohio) Wednesday, May 8, 1957 Donald Tackett, 37, rear 534 Springmill St., a resident of Mansfield for about two years, died at General Hospital at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday following an illness of several months. Mr. Tackett was an employee of the Fisher Body Division of General Motors. He was a veteran of World War II. He was born at Enterprise, Ky. on Oct. 31, 1919. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Phyllis Tackett; two daughters Beverly Jane and Jacqueline and a son, Phillip Ray Tackett, all at home. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Edward Tackett of Soldier, Ky.; four brothers Lonnie Tackett of Soldier, Ky., Charles of Marion, Ind., Gene of Chicago and “Buck” Tackett of Tennessee; three sisters, Mrs. Charlene Jones of Soldier, Ky., Miss Rose Tackett of Olive Hill, Ky., and Mrs. Emil Jones of Richmond, Ind. The body was removed from the Jonas Memorial today to the Leslie A. Henderson Funeral Home at Olive Hill, Ky. where funeral services will be held Thursday with burial in the Manning Chapel Cemetery at Olive Hill.
